ABOUT State of INSOMNIA
Formed in 2000 in Bakersfield, California. Since day one we have remained intensely committed to our ultimate objective, which is to enthrall and captivate fans with an unforgettable, in-your-face live performance. We have dominated in numerous local Battle of the Bands, which has acquired a substantial amount of media attention and radio airplay. State of Insomnia has had the opportunity to open for various live acts including: STATIC-X, POWERMAN 5000, 30 SECONDS TO MARS, IN THIS MOMENT, KOTTONMOUTH KINGS, SOIL, HED P.E. and ADEMA just to name a few. This of course, caught the attention of LA Lloyd and led to the band being featured on LA Lloyds Rock 30 Pod cast in 2007.
The bands mission is to inspire attraction and draw attention through our hard driving music and eerie imagery.

We are a perfect example;Writing and performing for over a decade, our band has definitely seen its share of ups and downs. However, rather than falling into the depths of dead bands............S. O. I. have continued to be true to ourselves and our craft!
